Mixed-Use High Rise Building
Miami, Florida, USA

As consultant to the Owner, assessed the reasonableness of the key change order requests submitted by the Contractor, and Contractor’s billings for an $800-million, mixed-use development project in Miami, Florida. Following this review, provided advice to the Owner as to the legitimacy of budget increases and actual costs claimed by the Contractor. The project involved 821 luxury residential apartments, along with a 19-story pedestal including a 208-room hotel, over 100,000 SF of medical office space, over 50,000 SF of high-end retail/restaurant space, and a 2,000 car parking garage.

US New Embassy Complexes

As consultant to the Owner, provided a periodic review of the Contractor’s monthly schedule updates in Primavera P6 scheduling software for two new embassy complexes in Europe and in Mexico and provided recommendations to the Owner so as to mitigate further project delays. Additionally, evaluated the contractor’s Requests for Equitable Adjustment (REAs) submittals and help prepare written reports detailing validity of the REAs and Contractor’s entitlement to time extension.

US Military Living Facilities

Assisted the delay expert in preparation of  an expert report to support the Joint Venture's request for equitable adjustment (REA). The dispute was amicably settled during mediation proceedings. The project involved the design and the construction of housing, dining, medical and other quality of life facilities. The total construction value was USD $ 70.3 Million.
